The Accton HGG4001 is the smallest GPON (Gigabit PON) mini-size Optical Network Terminal (ONT) in the market, which is complaint with ITU-T G.984 standards. It is designed based on GPON technology, supporting upstream 1.244Gbps and downstream 2.488Gbps PON transmission rate. The highly efficient bandwidth usage for Ethernet multi-services ensures a reliable quality of service to meet the requirements of carrier service providers. The HGG4001 provides 1 GPON uplink port and 1 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ-45) Gigabit Ethernet downlink port. The HGG4001 enables service providers to extend their core optical network all the way to the subscriber, eliminating the bandwidth bottleneck in the last mile. With 1 Gigabit Ethernet service interface, they deliver data at the speed of 1000Mbps to connected subscriber equipment.
